  • Antique cupboards collection with finest inventory  By : Victor Cherry
In early 18th and 19th centuries, almost every house had some sort of built in shelves for the display covered with gold plate or silver plate and cupboards with ventilated doors known as almeries, and the term cupboard became more generally restricted to storage of food and plate. This cupboard became popular and has become the most opulent pieces of furniture, which was also called as ‘Tridarn’ in early 18th century and sometimes called as pewter or dressers cupboards.
