Composition:
Adawall (www.adawall.co.uk) Step Repair Mortar is a polymer modi?ed mortar supplied in a 5kg waterproof pail. Inside is 5kg of premixed powder requiring the addition of 2.72 litres of clean potable water.
Mixing the Adawall (www.adawall.co.uk) Step Repair Mortar:
• Open the pack of powder and empty into the mixing vessel
• Add enough water to powder to give a workable mix
• Mix by hand or use a slow speed stirrer
• Do not mix more than can be applied within the working life of the mortar
(generally 5-10 minutes depending on temperature)
• A trowelling mortar consistency will not bleed or shrink
Application Procedure:
• The minimum application depth for Adawall Step Repair Mortar is 2mm
• The surface must be clean and structurally sound
• Avoid ‘feather edging’ by cutting out the repair area
• Damp the surface with clean water
• Whilst the surface is damp apply the mixed Adawall (www.adawall.co.uk) Step Repair Mortar
• Apply by hand and ?nish with a ?oat or trowel to achieve the required pro?le
• The material will be strong enough to withstand impact after 1-2 hours
• When applying material in extremely warm or cold temperatures, the working life and initial ‘set’ will be affected
