Adawall (www.adawall.co.uk) Concrete Dustproofer

Description:

Adawall (www.adawall.co.uk) Concrete Dustproofer is a one coat dustproofer, suitable for use on internal and external concrete, masonry and other mineral surfaces. It is used to seal, bind and protect porous substrates. In extreme circumstances, two coats may be needed.

Benefits:

? reduces substrate permeability

? improved anti-abrasion properties

? dust elimination due to in-surface seal

? more resistant to water and oil

Limitations of use:

? must not be applied onto wet surfaces

? protect from rain and adverse weather until fully cured

Surface Preparation:

Thoroughly clean all surfaces to remove loose material, dirt, dust, grime etc. Remove any standing water to leave the surface as dry as possible. Any moss, algae or fungal growth should be treated with fungicide solution, followed by hosing and stiff brushing.

Method of Application:

1. Adawall (www.adawall.co.uk) Concrete Dustproofer is supplied ready to use.

2. Apply by roller to form a complete membrane without breaks or pinholes.

3. One coat is normally sufficient although 2-3 coats may be needed on very porous substrates.

4. Avoid over treating as this will create a surface glaze.

Coverage:

Coverage is approximately 8-10m2 per litre per coat based on a smooth surface with average porosity. More material will be needed on surfaces with higher porosity.

Further Coatings:

If applying other coatings conduct compatibility tests to ensure intercoat adhesion. Any surface glaze should be sanded down.
